Blogging 101 – The Basics

The web host, on the other hand, is somewhat a virtual storage of files where your blog is stored. Every time you post and update anything in your blog, there are files which are updated in your host.

The domain is in a way the online address of your blog. It usually ends in ‘dot com’. Underneath the domain name is a series of numbers know as the IP address. It’ the IP address that really identifies the actual location of your blog.
